  We stayed here for two nights in October 2015. Once we found Newmans Hall Farm (tucked away out of the village of Little Waddingfield which made it a little difficult to find in our case) we were welcomed by the grand gated entrance, an imposing colonial-looking house and extensive beautiful gardens. Having been warmly greeted at the door we were taken to our cosy and very comfortable room which offered a magnificent view of the garden (our room was at the rear of the house). The establishment is an interesting mix of bygone grandeur and agricultural industry (working farm). We were allowed to roam without restriction through the grounds and house (obviously with the exception of the private rooms), enjoying the surrounding countryside and agricultural business.
  
  The relaxed breakfasts were enjoyed in the attractive dining room where an appetising choice was on offer to suit all tastes and diets.
  
  Throughout our stay the friendly owners were on hand to offer their help and meet any special requests with rural charm and ease. Sudbury and other picture-postcard villages are nearby and provided interesting days out. Don't forget a swimming costume because quite uniquely there is an indoor pool on site for guests to enjoy.
  
  If you want to enjoy an informal countryside retreat this is the place for you.
